Gridfinity Size Calculator
Enter the inside width, depth and height of your drawer and your 3D printer's bed size. The calculator gives the grid in units, the baseplate size, the spare space at the edges, the tallest bin in 7 mm units and how many baseplate pieces to print.

Measure inside the drawer at its narrowest points.
Gridfinity is built on a 42 mm square grid with 7 mm height units. A drawer 400 mm wide and 450 mm deep takes a 9 × 10 grid, with 22 mm and 30 mm left over to pad. If the drawer is 80 mm tall, bins up to 10 units, 70 mm, fit under the baseplate clearance.

Print a single unit bin first to check fit before printing a whole baseplate.

Heavy.
Magnet and weighted baseplates are thicker, so they take a little more drawer height.

What if my drawer is not a multiple of forty-two?
Use the full units and fill the leftover strip with spacers.
How do I print a baseplate bigger than my printer?
