Measure the longest length and widest width of each area.
Order the lawn area plus 5% for straight edges, 10% for curves. A 40 × 25 ft lawn is 1,000 sq ft. With 5% waste you need 1,050 sq ft, which is 105 rolls of 10 sq ft, or about 2.2 pallets.
