Privacy policy

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information Clarks Size Calculator (the "site", "we", "us") handles and why. We keep it short because we collect little.

The size calculator

The numbers you type into the calculator are processed in your browser. They are not sent to us or stored by us, and the calculator doesn't need your name, your child's name or any other personal details.

Contact form

If you send us a message, we receive the name, email address and message you enter. The form is delivered through Web3Forms, a form-handling service that forwards your message to our inbox. We use these details only to reply to you and keep them no longer than needed for that purpose, usually up to 12 months. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry.

Hosting and logs

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like most web hosts, it may process technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site securely and keep it running. We don't use this information to identify you.

Fonts and links to other sites

Our fonts are served from this site, so your browser does not contact a font provider. Links to other websites, such as retailers or fitting guides, take you to sites with their own privacy policies.

Analytics and cookies

If you allow analytics, we use Google Analytics to count visits and understand which pages people use. Google can use analytics cookies to distinguish visits. We remember your choice in your browser. You can change it at any time using Cookie settings in the footer.

Children

The site is designed for parents and carers. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under UK and EU data protection law, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to complain to a data protection authority such as the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
