A lounge needs space for the TV, the view, the sofa and walkways. Sit about 1.2 times the screen diagonal away for a 4K TV. With a 55 inch TV and a 3-seat sofa, the room needs to be about 3.6 m deep and 3.9 m wide, allowing walkways of 0.9 m.
