Maximum height includes the pallet itself. Many carriers allow 1,800 to 2,200 mm.
Pallet loading is a puzzle of rectangles. The calculator tries the boxes both ways round and a mixed pattern, then stacks as many layers as the height and weight limits allow. A 400 × 300 mm box fits 8 to a layer on a EUR pallet.

What size is a euro pallet?
1200 × 800 mm and about 144 mm high.
What size is a standard UK pallet?
1200 × 1000 mm.

How high can a pallet be stacked?
Often 1,800 to 2,200 mm including the pallet, but check with your carrier.
How much weight can a pallet take?
About 1,000 kg is a common limit for a full pallet, more for heavy duty ones.
Should boxes overhang a pallet?
No. Overhang weakens the boxes and can damage the load.
